Hi everyone, I started Keto on November 1st, 2017. I started because everything about my health was bad- my weight was the highest it is has ever been, my blood pressure- through the roof, cholesterol- high. I read “The New Atkins Made Easy” and discovered that I have metabolic syndrome and am thus pre-diabetic. I just hope I have caught it in time. I don’t feel fully “keto-adapted” yet but I am looking forward to the benefits I have read other people experiencing. I started because my poor health along with everything else I had tried was crazy but lowering carbs, and eating fat and protein did not seem any crazier than all of my poor health.
