An Unfortunate Discovery

I was going to experiment with making “carnivore hotdog buns” and so I made a bunch of hotdog shaped burgers from 73/27 ground beef and put them in the oven in a casserole dish. When they were done, I immediately realized why they don’t shape hamburger to fit into hotdog buns. Just don’t do it. :face_vomiting:

LOL!! Yeah… the shape and texture just don’t work. Have never done it but the mental picture is… well… something that can’t be unseen. :wink: :smiley:

I’ll stick with the standard burger shape. I love a good burger.

Someone in my office had the same idea a few years ago and said pretty much the same thing!
