I was going to experiment with making “carnivore hotdog buns” and so I made a bunch of hotdog shaped burgers from 73/27 ground beef and put them in the oven in a casserole dish. When they were done, I immediately realized why they don’t shape hamburger to fit into hotdog buns. Just don’t do it.

LOL!! Yeah… the shape and texture just don’t work. Have never done it but the mental picture is… well… something that can’t be unseen.

I’ll stick with the standard burger shape. I love a good burger.

Someone in my office had the same idea a few years ago and said pretty much the same thing!
