I seem to lose 4 or 5 lbs a week for the last couple weeks when i started and then all of a sudden the next day i go to weigh myself and the weight i had lost that week is either all the way back or more. and I have stayed around 20 carbs
Am i going out of ketosis?

Weight loss is not linear. The initial weight loss is mostly water weight. If you are under 20g of net carbs, you are in ketosis. Trust the process. If you feel like you’re becoming obsessed with scale numbers, put the scale away and just focus on staying under 20g of net carbs and increasing fat. There are 2 stages of ketosis. Stage one is reducing carbs and starting ketone production which doesn’t take long at all. Stage two is fat adaptation where your body efficiently produces and uses ketones. This takes usually 6-8 weeks and is where the real magic happens.
