Hi Guys,
I’m not totally a fan of the coconut flour - and my kids have nut allergies – What else can I use to make Fathead Pizza? Ideas?
Thanks in advance!

I have a recipie that only uses eggs and cheese for the crust. Some have found it too eggy, but I like it. It’s not as bread like as the fatheads, but it’s not too far off either.
Use mozzarella or provolone shredded and whisk together with the eggs. Spread out on parchment paper and bake till firm. Then add toppings and bake until cheese toppings are all melty gooey goodness.
Protein powder? I do several baked items with it:
Or just skip the flour and do Cheesebuns.
I often use pork rind “breadcrumbs”. Just take an entire bag into a food processor, and grind to dust. If you do, though, try and find pork rinds with the least amount of salt you can, or else you’ll have a waaaaaay too salty crust…
When I find a promising recipe online, I save it in Evernote. Here are links to three from my collection. As you may imagine from the ingredients, they are very different, so it depends on what suits your tastes.
Not sure how you’re doing your coconut pizza crusts but you can’t just swap almond for coconut, I learned that one the hard way. I’m not allergic but almond flour definitely screws with me in larger amounts, I’ve been doing this one for a while now with good results, my wife hates everything I’ve tried to switch to coconut flour, but she’s a fan of this. https://www.ketoconnect.net/low-carb-pizza-crust/ It actually rises a little which is nice and the only extra thing I do is add some dry yeast to it which won’t help rising but it adds the “real” bread flavor to it.
flaxseed should be fine.
The secret with flaxseed is not to overheat it or roast it by the direct heat source ( keep it away from the direct flame or heating coils and keep the temperature no more than 180 dag C ) If exposed to high or direct heat, it will smell like fish and give bad bitter taste.
Little psyllilium husk should help give it little strength.
nothing else is required except water
Ok you amazing recipe finders… I’m allergic to coconut and wanted to make some sort of dinner rolls for the holidays, but all have coconut flour… anyone have a recipe without it???
I saw this recipe on You Tube – two cups of shredded mozzarella, two cups of shredded cauliflower, two eggs, whip 'em up, put 'em on baking paper or a stone, put in oven and bake until brown or near crispy, then add toppings (pepperonis, more cheese and jalapenos) and bake until golden brown and soft. Pretty good stuff.
My wife and I actually tried tha cauliflower base recipe for our pizza last night. It actually turned out pretty good, not as ‘bready’ as I imagine some of the flour based ones would be but still great. (and better the next day)
