Almond mug bread went green

I got some new almond flour today and made a a quick microwavable almond mug bread. In the mug I put in 1 egg, 1/2 tsp bakig powder, 1/2 tsp bakig soda, 1 tbsp butter, 3 tbsp almound flour, 1 tbsp coconut flour, 3 tbsp water. I miked it well and cooked in in the microwave for 4 and a half minutes.

The bread ended up having a tinged green colour, tasted bitter and had a strange pneumonia scent.

I made the same recipe many times in the past but never had this reaction. The only difference was this specific almond flour that I used. Other times I had use almond flour that had light and dark elements but this time I bought one that only had light colour to it.

Does anyone know what might have caused this reaction?

Was it a new baking soda? If it’s not aluminum-free, the baked goods can supposedly turn green and have an aluminum scent to them…? Or, if the coconut flour is the only difference, maybe it somehow reacted to an aluminum-based baking soda?

Just guessing here.

I just baked a keto chocolate sponge cake with the same almond flour/coconut flour. It smells fine at the moment but I haven’t tasted it yet but it seems it hasn’t reacted to anything at the moment. I thought the culprit might have been baking soda actually so I didn’t add it to the sponge mixture this time.
