All things coffee?

Discovered that “pop” did ya? Yeah, if you agitate hot coffee, it releases some carbon dioxide. Can be quite the hot surprise!

At the end of the day, it’s all about personal preferences, folx. The most important thing is getting your drinky drank in whatever way pleases you…

Coffee + dash of salt + dash of black peper + dash of cayenne pepper

Thanks! I’ve been curious but never knew how to even look it up. Sounded like a very long Google search term

I picked up a battery-operated, hand-held stick milk frother at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $10. Works great. Don’t want to get out the blender for my travel mug of coffee in the morning.

I have a cheap-o milk frother at work, but at home I use the stick blender. Just rinse it off and it’s all good.

I was going to suggest that. My friend has a tiny, battery operated stick blender with a small whisk that she uses to mix oil and powdered mica to add to her soaps.

We get together occasionally and make it together and I thought about buying one. Something like $10 on Amazon. Being able to froth my coffee in my mug may just push me to springi for one - dual uses!

Searching for this now… thank you!

Some Kerrygold Butter and sometimes a dash of Pink Himalayan salt.

(Roy D Rushing Jr ) #50

Well I mean it does sit on the top of the coffee after it melts. Every sip carries with it a little butter and a little coffee. I like the taste of butter though, so it isn’t a problem for me.

(Dee) #51

I tried it this morning without any device to blend. The taste was amazing :yum:

(Jackie ) #52

What is “Kerrygold”?

(Deborah ) #53

Kerrygold is a brand of very expensive butter from grass-fed cows.

Again, not that lack of a blender makes for crap keto coffee, but if you go onto Craigslist and get you any half-way decent blender, the difference is pretty fantastic. The emulsification of the fat in the coffee plus the aeration makes for a truly lovely cup. I’ve had espresso from a $50k La Marzocco Strada, and honestly, me and my little Cuisinart EM-100 plus a blender is right up there. 2 double-shots, a tablespoon of butter, a shot of MCT, and a splash of HWC, and life is good.

BTW, you can very often find the EM-100 on Craigslist all the time for between $50-$80. It’s a solid little work-horse, and pulls a decent shot.

Been dairy free for the most part
W the above I may “ cycle “ back in :joy:

Do you have a recommendation, one to get or not get?
Several on amazon

Thanks

If it says “ISI” you’re fine. You don’t need fancy. They’re pretty much all the same…
