Yesterday I awoke at 3:50 am. I left for Roxboro NC at 5:30 from Richmond, VA. My trip was about 140 miles. Not breakfast except black coffee.
Attended the Adapt your Life NC event with Dr. Westman and Amy Berger and other great speakers.
Lunch was a small bit of salad and pulled pork.
Drove home. Got a very small snack (1 meat roll-up with pimento cheese).
Went to an outdoor concert near home with Alison Krauss. (I do love Alison Krauss). Was not hungry so did not eat. And did they have food trucks? Oh my! I’m winning over my deranged body one fasted meal at a time.
Laid down for bed still with lots of energy and a clear mind. Sleep 8 hours.
I could not have done that when I was on carbs.
For fun here is a picture of Dr. Westman on piano, in the back is the mayor of Roxboro playing the drums and Amy Berger with the sax. They were playing and singing the Van Morrison version of Momma told me there would be days like this. Gosh, I love that song.
Who says keto can’t be fun.
