Can this be true, or do I miss something?
This would indicate my keto levels are off the charts!
After 4 weeks PSMF my AT6000 shows always BAC %0.19 which is max level
Your body has to learn how to use ketones as its main fuel source. When you first start eating this way, your body is not as efficient at utilizing ketones as it will be six months down the line. It takes about 6 weeks for your body to become fat adapted, and like I mentioned on another thread, it doesn’t happen all at once, it is a gradual improvement. I have a feeling over time, if you continue to follow this way of eating, you will see your ketone numbers come down as your body becomes more efficient at using them.
And producing them. This assumes that what you produce is what you “need”, the body becomes good at that.
I think it’s similar to blood sugar – the body produces what it needs to produce and no more.
Not really, there’s no 1:1 with what a BAC shows vs actual ketone measurements, that said, your ketone levels don’t matter, only that you’re in ketosis. More ≠ better with an exception for people doing keto as a medical intervention.
