Advice needed - no weight loss, am I doing this right?

I think that sounds like too much protein. Maybe decrease it and see how that works…?

My granddaughter just came over for a can drive. She had this little box wanting to know if I could help her fill it.
“oh honey, you’re going to need a bigger box.”

Thankfully she also brought her wagon up. :joy:

I chucked some pecan nuts in while frying bacon and eggs. They were heaven and gave a nice crunch with the meal. You have to watch because they burn quite easily. I also mixed some fried pecans with mayo and bacon to have with a salad. Very tasty :yum:

They freeze well, so you could “stretch them out” that way and keep them from getting rancid.

I love nuts in salads. Need to do that more often.

Maybe your thyroid isn’t being medicated properly. Do you still have symptoms? Difficulty losing weight is a big one, but do you have others like dry skin, losing hair, excessive tiredness?

Unfortunately, this isn’t always possible if you have a family. I find it so frustrating that I can’t detox my house because my husband keeps buying all the high carb sugary salty snacks. My environment is garbage in my house, so I have to rely on my own self control to just not eat it even though it’s all around me. Since I’ve been on keto for almost 4 weeks and I cut out all sugar and white flour 2 months ago, I’m not even tempted by that box of krispy kreme donuts anymore. I don’t want it because I want my WOE more.

Excessive tiredness - yes yes yes!!!

Do you have a copy of your thyroid labs? Most doctors just do tsh and total t4, but that doesn’t give a complete picture. You need free t4 and free t3, reverse t3 and an antibodies test to see if you have Hashimotos (which is an autoimmune disease).

Which medication are you taking?

I take 75mg of levothyroxine per day which I know is not a high dose. I am based in the UK so it’s not always easy to get blood work done by request. But I do have an appointment with my doctor coming up soon so I will ask.
