Accidently Made Some Jerky

I put a roast in the oven on low heat. At the same time I put a cookie sheet pan of 5 Italian sausages. I went to the studio to work–completely forgetting about the sausages!

What a pleasant surprise! The low heat slow roasted Italian sausages looked so dark, and a bit dehydrated with a wrinkled, krinkled casing. But the taste, bite and chewy texture was great! Hope you try it.

I think I have to do that along with a tray of thick sliced bacon slices individually rolled and toothpicked to give Bacon Jerky too!!

Heaven can wait - I am busy planning culinary heaven on earth!!
