So just over a year ago, I met up with Fidel and he told me all about Keto for fat adaptation and weight loss purposes. So in that time what did I do ?
- lost 13kgs
- ride in Aug 2016 still in adaption but 30 mins quicker than previous year
- Did a 226km ride
- Broke numerous PB’s on Strava
- Did a 305km ride in 12 hours with only 30 minutes of stopping
- Did the Marmotte again - 2 hours quicker with cutting off 50 mins in few stops
- Did 100 Miles last week, closed road even 5.45
- Did 100 miles this week, no food during ride, tougher than last week 5.51 with just stops for pee and water
Also on this changed to MAF training in April which I believe helped with all this with fat adaption and using 100% fat for at least half these rides …
