The Keto high is the buzz that doesn’t go away, as long as you eat right. This is what has me addicted to this way of eating. I started keto to lose weight but got so much more. Glad you found it also… and welcome.
Initially, you lose a lot of water weight. When your body is releasing glycogen (stored glucose in the muscles and liver), you lose 3-4 grams of water for every gram of glycogen lost and it means a lot of weight dropped, very quickly (for some people). You can’t expect weight to be lost at such a rapid pace after the first few weeks, but if you keep doing things right, the losses will be steady.

Concentrate on this bit. As Carl said, the weight that falls off at the start is your body flushing glycogen stores (so drink plenty, and keep your electrolytes up). But feeling better isn’t just an initial hit
