This is awesome. And I can relate to your amazement at your continuing success and increasing strength, as I still amaze myself. Please poke me and let me know what happens at the competition. I have thought of competing myself.
I have to tag my boyfriend, Kevin. I want him to see this.

A new PR every week!
I’m no expert but that looks like pretty good form, better than a lot of people who claim to know what they are doing yet post deadlift videos with horrible form.
Thank you. I got some great coaching early on from my sister. Form is everything when you pull this kind of weight otherwise you’re setting yourself up for injury!
Wow! Very inspirational. Looks so solid, I bet the PRs keep coming. Can’t wait to hear of your coming competition triumphs.
Meet went amazing today!!! PR’d both of my lifts (135 bench and 315 deadlift) and won 1st place in my weight/age group! Weighed in at 156 and was in the 165 class!
Also, had my body fat tested (calipers and measurements) and was 19%!!! All around awesome day!!!
As a weight lifter in a power lifting gym, I can truly appreciate your accomplishments. Congrats ma’am.
The belt has no markings on it so I’m not sure. My sister ordered it for me off of amazon I believe. I don’t think it’s anything fancy
Congratulations on a great meet! I noticed your deadlift PR puts you at 2x body weight!! Amazing!!!
The reason I asked is because I just ordered a new one. Kinda pricey and a 6 week wait while they make it. But they are the best made belts you can find.
Congrats on the PRs, those are great numbers. I’ve been powerlifting since shortly after my heart attack in 2014, (exercise every day, right?) and my best deadlift is 315.
Yeah, I really enjoy it. I was committed to daily exercise anyway to meet my rehab targets, and was getting tired of constant cardio, so I decided to lift more, and build a toy for the wife in the process. We have a good gym set up at the fire hall, with a good rack and about 400 pounds of plates.
