I am so glad you enjoyed it. It gives me a great deal of pleasure to make people laugh.

I had been reading a lot of Patrick McManus’ essays and even while this was happening to me, I was jotting notes during my periods of lucidity, lol. Confession: my husband wasn’t nearly as unsympathetic as I made him out to be. Everything else is close to what happened, including the strobing of the fish in the aquarium, although I did not actually throw up on either cat. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

If you’ve never read any of Patrick McManus’ works (The Day the Bear Ate Goombaw is an especially fun read, right up there with Never Sniff a Gift Fish) I highly recommend them.
