A few questions about extended fasting

Ahah, I guess you could say it’s a bit of slang

Hahaha, oh my lord. Most of the time I use the word ‘bugger’.
I looked into the meaning of buggery… oops! LOL!

buggery
ˈbʌɡəri/Submit
noun
1.
anal intercourse. In law the term also covers bestiality.

That awkward moment when you realize you’ve been promoting This text will be blurredanal This text will be blurred sex for years.

As Ava will know, in Aus the word bugger is not considered offensive, it is a very mild swearword. Part of the reason for this is a series of ads for Toyota cars that ran 20 years ago, where a poor dog had something bad happen to him (can’t remember the details), and the final word in each ad was the dog saying “bugger!”. It was hysterical, and the ads became famous. And the word became very mellow in Aus culture.

:joy::rofl::joy:

Fasting is a great plan for those few days prior to payday.

Fasting is amazing:

  • at 24 hours, add another 12 hours

  • at 36 hours, add another 12 hours

  • at 4 days you are fully fat adapted and at the peak of autophagy , over the hump, then it is a matter of dealing with boredom as you won’t want or need to eat and all the time dedicated to meals is returned to you for other things

Keep on going. Listen to your body.

:rofl::rofl: It’s okay, as long as you are also promoting fasting, you’re good!

Not sure if I mentioned this as I’m in a few posts about my fasting, but during the day I really think about my evening meal and when the time comes, I don’t really want to eat it so I am thinking I am definitely going to give the 36 hour fast a go tonight.

Good luck! But I still want to know if stomachs actually shrink. I’ve asked and asked, and no one has addressed this!

Google has revealed to me… Once you are an adult, your stomach pretty much remains the same size – unless you have surgery to intentionally make it smaller. Eating less won’t shrink your stomach, says Moyad, but it can help to reset your “appetite thermostat” so you won’t feel as hungry, and it may be easier to stick with your eating plan.

Love this! Very sensible. It’s not a competition or a test. It should be a pleasant experience for self improvement; not torture.
