I want to start by saying thank you to all of you that have taken the time to read my usually very long winded posts and offered your input. I have only been at this a few days, as some of you already know, but this has been a HUGE gift and I wouldnt have made it through my insane starting fast without you. So in total I fasted for 78 hrs as i was asleep when the 72 hr mark came. After not sleeping the night before, i slept so well and woke up excited for the day. I had been up awhile and still wasnt hungry, at all. So I drank my coconut oil coffee (which thank god wasnt gross) and here I am. Everything I have read says dont force yourself to eat, but shouldnt I at least try? I am still planning on sticking to my guns on this 48/12 plan so have until 1030 tonight to eat. My gut feeling is that I should try to eat as much of my 1500 calorie allotment as I can but that again flies in the face of my research. Of course it turns out my whole “plan” is pretty unorthodox. All I know is despite a night with insomnia and about 12 hours of keto flu I feel GREAT! I learned a lot, thanks to you guys in part, throughout the first fast and I know how to keep that pesky keto flu at bay this next time. I guess we will see. I am sure I will post every single detail again to get your feedback, sorry about your luck!!! I seriously appreciate this community, never before have I felt so supported. Since this is the hardest most life changing transition in my life it is such a great comfort that you are out there wanting to encourage and give feedback.
