8 weeks in and now I see!

#1

I am now eight weeks in the keto way of life and now I see what everyone was talking about! Last week I was so tired, but had lost weight and I just thought, “hang in there, the rest of the benefits are coming.” I happened to listen to The Salt Fix on 2ketodudes and a lightbulb went off. I googled electrolytes on this forum and followed @Brenda recipe for ketoade and voila! I feel energized and creative and NOT HUNGRY! I have made it to fat adapted! I even fasted for 23.5 hours (I had to make my family dinner and at that point I got hungry so didn’t make it to 24). I am so proud of myself and very, very excited (in case it wasn’t obvious).
Thank you to this forum of incredibly kind and patient people and to @richard and @carl for their amazing podcasts that keep me focused and feel supported in this new and wonderful rest of my life

[Hi everybody! This will be, also, my first post. I have been on keto for a month. Had several issues with keto flu and it was pretty awful. But, I didn’t give up. I had previous experience (better to say “trial”) few years ago when I tried keto but I failed so hard. I was consuming way too much protein (so I know that now), too little fat and too much dairy which was packed with carbs. In the meantime (fast forward few years to present time), I stopped completely eating dairy (because of some Health issue) and decided to give keto another try. This time - I did everything right. I even have blood monitor. But - the best thing is that, after a month (give or take few days) on keto - yeasterday I experienced the sudden, enormous and beautiful burst of energy, positivity and wonderfulness :). Sorry if my english is not the best - I am from Europe :).
Also, I want to add that I am very active: running, gym and I have big dog that demands much walks. Yeasterday I ran 10k and had the feeling that I could do more :).
