Ya’ll have been busy on here! I stepped up the workouts. Honestly I am as confused as can be… I have 7 weeks of food entries on my app… ive tried a variety of approaches but the one thing I haven’t changed is my carb intake… super low. I have been in Ketosis since about day 3… I’m not gonna stress on this anymore… appreciate everyones effort to help me
7+ weeks and im not making progress
I don’t eat 2 10 ounce ribeyes a day lol… that’s too expensive for this woman. I have been eating just one
I have tracked everything ive eaten for 7 weeks. I have also modified it over the 7 weeks and still no loss. I think its time to go to the doctor and see whats up…
Actually if you look at the numbers in the pic I had 76 grams of protein and 147 grams of fat…
Kiwado, I thought I remembered seeing a post from you about how someone at a store was commenting on how great you looked - how beautiful your skin was, how young you looked - and even though you had only lost a few pounds at that point, you were noticing recomposition - was that you?
For the record @kiwado , I didn’t lose any weight until 10 weeks in. I am now down 85 lbs in 7 months.
yep, that was me. Guys, its really tough. I’m not gonna lie. Almost 8 weeks and no drop in weight or inches lost. I’m so frustrated.Itd be different if I wasn’t following the plan. BUT I AM
For real?! Okay, so… if I stick it out the whole 3 months then I can say I gave it my all
Do you have other issues you notice to be healing at all? I knew things were getting better from my BG and HR reductions. My neuropothy wasn’t quite as painful and my rough skin was smoothing out.
3 months would be better but even 6 months would be giving it a real shake. Are you gaining weight? If not, your not really loosing anything, and what would you go to if you decided to quit this?
Hell I need to eat some humble pie and count my blessings. My health is top notch besides the 30 pounds of blubber I carry. My eyes are bright my skin is clear and I have no pain. I was so fit just a couple years ago… hormones starting acting wonky and now that that has past, I’m stuck trying to reverse the weight gain it caused. If I quit this? Geez, I dunno. I am looking forward to the 18th when I weigh. If I see even a 1 pound loss I will stay the course. You are the best, Ron. Hope youre evening is swell

I believe this just means that your insulin level is too high. I think a lot of people that start keto are actually eating negative carbs since they are taking metformin. Negative carbs can get your insulin resistance to reset.
My blood glucose (BG) went down a bunch but I couldn’t lose weight either. Fasting is probably the only thing that will help, besides drugs. I’m surprised OMAD didn’t do it.
I am trying to reset mine with Invokana. At least, I’m losing weight now. I can’t eat 1/2 what I used to either.
Any clue what your BG or HbA1c is? Or insulin of course, but no doc’s ever measure it.
Never had any issues before. I have my labs from earlier this year somewhere, I get all the routine stuff done every year.
Ahhh! My bad. Sorry, thanks for clarifying lol
She has multiple threads I’ve been replying on. Didn’t realize this wasn’t the carnivore one. My bad too
