I am moderately active, weight #165, goal weight is #155
have a hard time getting into ketosis and barely make it when I do, .5mmg is typical with blood keytone reader

also, is processed protein (collagen power and zero carb whey powder) ok?

Welcome to the forums. I hope you like it here.

Your protein is fine. Remember that it takes a lot longer to lose the final 10 pounds than to lose the first 100, so it will take a while to reach your goal. We generally tend to advise against products, in favor of real foods. If your circumstances don’t permit you to cook and eat for yourself, then do what you need to do, but meat is a lot tastier than powder, and it contains a lot more nutrients than just protein.

Try making broth with bones, from a chicken, or beef, or ham, or whichever pleases you most. Make it nice and salty so it tastes good and get your salt intake up. Better tasting and cheaper than collagen powder.

Now to take my own advice again…I used to make bone broth all the time for my soups and sauces. It’s the best.
