Hi, I need some advice/help, maybe someone had similar experience. Im doing keto 6 wks now and have energy crashes during the day, my head feels most of the time like if i would lie down, i would fall asleep. You know, this “I can think, but it’s bit slow” state.
I am 6.4" and 125lb. I do keto more for health than weight loss. I tried everything. Upping and lowering my calories. Upping my salt intake- seems like my body doesnt like too much salt, i get red face and headaches from too much salt. Lowered my salt, all headaches gone. Im making sure that my electrolytes and macros are pefect. Upped my fat. I’m keeping my protein between 65-85g. Drinking bone broth. Not eating between 8pm and 10am. Keeping my 20g carb net religiously. Not getting any hidden sugars- i eat real food made by me. No sweetners. Drinking ridiculous amounts of water. And still feel so sluggish. I had keto breath 2 wks ago, now its only this sweet taste in my mouth.
Is it possible, that i am in ketosis, but my body doesnt like it and dont know how to utilize ketones? Is it possible, that keto is not for me? Or shall i push through? Anyone had this kind of experience? I dont want to waste my time- as much as i love eating keto, i can’t afford to feel like this in my line of work.
6 wks and still energy swings

My suggestion would be that for the adjustment phase, your fast is too long. Eat breakfast. Once you are well-adapted, then extend your fast until 10am or beyond. I am pretty new at this, but based on everything I have read, that would be my first thought.
