The quality of the carbohydrate matters as well…
But it turns out I am a Mini Mikhalia Peterson. Allergic to all plants and grains, and nuts.
I am forced to eat a carnivore diet. (As a side note, I was on vacation, and had various salami’s in Russia. They used different seasonings. I have had migraines for 2 weeks now, still getting them, despite being clean for 4 days, AND fasting yesterday. It could take another 1-2 weeks of migraines before it is out of my system.
SO… it could be the carbs were triggering an immune reaction -> Cortisol/Adrenaline and kicking me out that way. But the 5g limit is a multiple day limit. If I am clean, I can go over 5grams on ONE day, and recover the next without seeing me knocked out of ketosis the next morning. But if I do 2-3 days in a row, I am done.
Also FIBERS kill me. More headaches until they pass. Clearly a leaky gut issue.
Hoping it cleans up. Because of this, I actually fast as many days as I eat (more sometimes). I simply feel better not eating. But it catches up with ya… LOL.
