3 weeks in! Also introducing myself

Hey everyone! I am brand new to keto but not brand new to dieting. I just started keto about 3 maybe 4 weeks ago and I have already lost 8 lbs! Super stoked. I am tracking macros at 75% Fat 25% protein and 5 carbs. I am tracking calories but have found that I don’t really need to too much since if I hit my macros I’m averaging 1500-1800 calories a day. 6 lbs is great so far but the weird thing is it visibly looks like I have lost more weight than that. Pants fit that haven’t in forever etc. Starting weight 258 today’s weight 249.8. just wanted to say hi and share.

Great to hear, and welcome aboard!

I haven’t done too much dieting in the past, but I had done a couple with limited success. Keto, to me, is not a diet. It’s my new way of living, and my future looks great.

You may read around here, the weight loss is great, but the health benefits are amazing. That’s what is important to me about Keto, my improved health.

Not just mine, but my wife’s too! Our future together looks so much better than just a couple of years ago. And it’s not just the improvement physically, but emotionally too.

I look forward to hearing more of your updates!

Yay! Excited for you :slight_smile: don’t track calories it’s not needed for this diet/lifestyle and if you want to later on that’s fine but in the beginning you want to focus on low carbs high fats :slight_smile: good luck!
