2 Week Fat Fast

I started keto a few weeks ago, but have been struggling sticking to it and getting into ketosis.
I have decided to do a 2 week fat fast where I will be consuming mainly bulletproof coffee and some macadamia nuts or avocados while keeping my calorie intake at 1000 to 1200 calories during the day.
I was hoping someone might join me on this fast, if anyone is interested.
If not, I will still keep you posted daily on how the fast is going.
I know some might think this is not a proper fast, but for my own sanity I would prefer adding some solid foods such as avocado or egg yolks.
I’ve started today, but if someone would like to join me tomorrow or the day after, I have no problem extending my fast with a day or 2 or even 3.

What in particular are you struggling with?

I have trouble sticking to keto for more than 5 days at a time and when I am eating keto, I tend to overeat.

Many people feel like they’re over eating when they first start keto as the body has not yet learnt how to use fat as fuel. It’s a process that takes time. You’d be better advised to master keto properly before attempting any kind of fast, although the amount of calories you’re proposing wouldn’t be either a fat fast or any type of fast. My concern if that you’ll do yourself more harm if you follow through on your plan.

Thanks for the advice.
Do you maybe know where I could find a good eating plan that could be of help. I like having structure, and an eating plan might provide that.

Think of it as a fat fast with protein. I found a site that has some meal plans - might be a start? If you get hungry be sure to eat more of the keto food. The idea is not to get hungry and tempted to eat rubbish. Good luck and check back, I’d be interested how its going…

Remember, this isn’t a diet, it isn’t about the weight loss, Keto will normalize your weight. And it is about your health and healing your body.
