I’m going to make an effort to listen to all the 2 keto dudes podcasts, and I’m wondering if I should start from the beginning or start from the latest and work backward. I guess 2 questions: 1. is the info sort of cumulative, i.e. you want to start from the beginning to get a good base of info, and 2. have they changed their position about any significant points they’ve made? (that flexibility would be a good thing in my book, science evolves, but I’d want to know going in so I’m not basing my process on suggestions or science that might have been updated or discarded.) TIA!
2 keto dudes - from the beginning
It never occurred to me to go backwards. When I discovered it, I started from the beginning and worked my way through. There are a few position changes, so there might be a few instances where you take something away from an episode only to have it refuted later, but there aren’t many.
I think it’s totally worth doing, even more so when you’ve already been doing it because you’ll get to fill in bits and pieces that might be missed if you were new and just trying to absorb the basics.
I did the same thing with the Keto Talk I podcast. After all that I learned a lot but I got kind of burned out on listening to people talking about keto all day so I went back to the normal podcasts I listen to (and music).
I’ve actually never listened to the podcast that this forum is based around. I’ll get around to listening to it but I’ll probably just listen to their latest episode and any future ones after that. I don’t think I can put myself through a non-stop keto listening binge for weeks on end again. faints
I kinda feel like I’ve gone down so many information-binging rabbit holes about ketosis and everything around it that it would be helpful to just slow down and review, with people I feel confident about. We’ll see. I tend to stop podcasts and go down rabbit holes based on what I’m hearing, too, so this might not work.
Episode 89 is a great short succinct episode (only 20 mins) which I normally recommend to friends. It gives a really wonderful, simple overview. If that, in turn, piques your curiosity then listening from the beginning and sharing in Carls’ journey and Richards experience is a great idea. Plus there are all those recipeeeeeeeeees
O, I see when I go to their actual website instead of using youtube, there is a little disclaimer called “errata” above the play. PERFECT!
