I’ll be here for you when you lose ur sanity.

Too late.
PAY ATTENTION

(David K) #23

I am normally against shitting up a thread, but this too much fun.

(Scott Shillady) #24

Pork Belly Steak??

#25

You know how much I hate rule books.

(Meeping up the Science!) #26

The last time I ate steak only for 30 days I ate once a day and spent $240 for the month, but I was being spoiled and ate ribeye. I’ll be buying my 30 steaks on sale the next two month and freezing. I will save and tally my receipts.

Once you cut out all the other food it’s less expensive.

If people want to do zero carb in solidarity fine, however we are gonna save up and steak up!

#27

Salmon steak, tuna steak… yea… steak. This thread has fucking devolved and I love it.

#28

So, I’d need about 40oz of rib eye each day based on calories I think I normally eat each day.

Probably only 3 prime ribs steaks. Mmmm… prime rib.

(8 year Ketogenic Veteran) #29

You must not know me. Lol

(AnnaLeeThal) #30

Can we do this every February?

(Jenn W) #31

I’d be in for the coffee and steak!
But you shall not take my tea!! What’s wrong with you people?!? Barbaric!!

Sheesh!

Oh, and thanks for the laugh with the ruining of this thread :joy:

(Guardian of the bacon) #32

Looks like it’s actually planned for March.

(Larry Lustig) #33

Eating steak in March is fine. Eating steak in February is NOT KETO.

(AnnaLeeThal) #34

Oh, I see. End of February. Well then, I may be doing this then!!

(Guardian of the bacon) #35

Lent begins March 1 if anybody cares.

(AnnaLeeThal) #36

Wait. One more question about da rulz for this challenge. Do we have to cook the steak?

(8 year Ketogenic Veteran) #37

No. Absofuckinglutely NOT

(Scott Shillady) #38

Maybe I’ll do it for 40 days then.

Two more questions. When will the rulebook be published?? And Why is there not a rulebook emoji??

#39

@Donna and @Brenda

Ok, gals, I’m in.
I’m currently going through a 32 day ZC variable protein test, and I’m 2 days in. My guess I will discover ZC is ok for my gut and so on. Given that I pass the test, I will be delighted to join you. I will also be tracking stats on a daily basis, as I’m doing now with my current test trial.

For those out there having a hard time envisioning “steak”, here are a few example options:

Ribeye
Chuck eye steak (similar to ribeye, but cheaper!)
Minute steak
T bone
Eye of round
New York strip
Filet mignon
Florentine
Sirloin
Coulotte steak
Hanging tender (onglet steak)
Flank steak

My guess is we can cook in whatever grease we want…tallow, butter, lard, olive oil, etc.

(Sandra Watson) #40

you just want to slice up the pork belly steak and make bacon, Thinking outside the rule box ;
