#104 what we got wrong

What would be the thoughts about hemp oil? Cold pressed, supposedly a perfect balance of omega 3s and 6s, but a seed oil and lower in saturated fat than olive oil?

LARD, better profile.

The saturated fat in the olive oil is the best part. Hemp oil is also being pushed for dog food, over animal fats. Pretty nutty, it’s mainly being pushed by the so called “Health and Natural Food” folks whom have been wrong about stuff so many times before…

I certainly wouldn’t feed it to my dog, but I’m not sure the saturated fat aspect is the only issue. Olive oil is considered a healthy oil, as is macadamia, avocado and when compared to oils such as coconut and animal fats, these are all relatively low saturated fats.
