Holy cow, I just tried this bar (or a version of it, the 100% cocoa bar with the cacao nibs), and it’s REALLY GOOD!!! Easily tastes as sweet as the 85% bars I’ve been having. The rest of my 85% bars are getting donated to the nearest chocoholic stat!
100% dark chocolate. Too good to be true?
Yup. Just had it yesterday.
It’s still easy to over eat though. So tread carefully.
I want to try the orange one so badly! Will you send me some?! I always just break off 4 squares, less than one serving.
I just found it on Amazon. Not eligible for prime shipping, but shipping appears to be free.
LOL I love how on the page under “Customers who bought this also bought…” there are ketone test strips.
The orange one is good, but it’s just a hint of orange. And yes it’s 8g net carbs for the whole bar. I only eat it by the whole bar
It’s $2.99/bar at Trader Joe’s. Last time I looked on Amazon it was astronomically priced.
I’m gonna have to get me some 100% cocoa fix. Chocolate is my weakness, and I think even though I get it at 80+ percent typically the sugar that is there is affecting my insulin resistance.
I found some good prices on multibuys of these on Amazon but don’t want to get chocolate delivered until the weather has cooled down…
I don’t know how you all eat that?
I bought a bar of 100 percent and it is so bitter tasting. Maybe I didn’t buy the right stuff. It was a Lindi’s brand I think.
edit- Just checked and it is Ghirardelli’s baking bar.
I am little confused
when we have 5 grams total carbs of which 2 grams is fiber in a serving of 15 grams, isn’t that too high?
that will make 20% of the total weight as carb.
another question : where is the carb coming from for 100% dark chocolate?
Baker’s unsweetened chocolate (100% cacao) is the same price at my local supermarket.
I couldn’t at first, but I finished off a bar of unsweetened chocolate the other night, and it didn’t taste bitter at all. I had been mixing it with heavy cream and Truvia, but decided I had to cut out the artificial sweetener. It was surprising how much better it tasted all by itself than it did last year.
I wonder how much more my sense of taste is going to continue to change.
