10 Kg Weight Loss Milestone

(Terence Dean) #1

Well its now 6 weeks and 5 days since I began dieting using Keto principles, and 10 kilos kicked to the curb.

I cannot honestly say that I’ve been doing the strict version of Keto because I do eat more carbs than the 20g per day recommended but I eat what I feel comfortable with, main thing for me is that I have not eaten a single piece of bread or pasta during this time and I feel great, not hungry at all.

My weight monitoring app says I lost an average of 1.49 kg a week, averaged 0.21 kg per day, and that my Cals/day were 2870, which I know is incorrect but obviously its calculated on data input.

The biggest difference for me between Keto style dieting and calorie-controlled is that on this one I felt great, little to no cravings.

On to the next 10 kgs… Keto on!

Right on, Terence. :slightly_smiling_face: The hormonal science behind keto is sound for so many of us, even with some deviation - keep on!

Fantastic! Congratulations, KCKO!

Thanks @OldDoug and @Alecmcq, I do appreciate the advice you and others post on the forum, its very informative and great to read about your experiences with Keto.

Wow that’s great.

Cheers, dropped another 1.2 kg overnight, despite having a carb binge of potato with my dinner.

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #7

The lack of hunger is one of the things that makes this way of eating possible for me. Couldn’t do it, otherwise.

Congrats on your progress. :bacon::bacon:

Totally agree with that, its actually a great selling point. Lose weight and not get hungry!
