That makes sense. None of our 3 cotons bit our ankles. When I lost my coton, my family bought me a Havanese, which are very similar to Cotons. He was an ankle biter, but it stopped when he was somewhere around one year old. I don’t think Havanese are herders, but I should look up each of the breeds that they are a mix of.

He was very hyper. The first year felt like living in a whirlwind. We noticed that food affected him, and finally got him on a fish based chow mixed with cooked white fish, and it has helped a lot.

:heart::slightly_smiling_face::sunglasses: So cute.

So darn cute!!! A terrier of some sort?

I had a havanese years ago and she was the sweetest pup. Loved to lay on the top of the back of my couch behind my head.

Did she like belly rubs?

Because he never held still for his whole first year, it was hard for me to believe, but Pierre turned into a true lap dog.

Someone on Twitter has a lap dog that liked being in high places. She said he had a “goatlike” quality to him.

Indeed. Norwich Terrier. :slightly_smiling_face:

She loved belly pats and was so good with the necessary grooming too. A real sweetie.

What a cutie! I love terriers. My Zoe is probably a jack russell with some other breed mixed in. I got her as a puppy from a rescue. She is really smart and fun.
