I bet Bella is a sweetheart :slightly_smiling_face: Love Pitbulls :slightly_smiling_face: …well I love all dogs, but Pitbulls are so often just great dogs !

I do kind of have a stereo type with pitbulls… I expect them to be really great dogs, even before I’ve met them :slightly_smiling_face:

Love Bulldogs :slightly_smiling_face:

Do you work for a Police Dept., or are you a consultant? Please forgive, but what is Fenrir’s specialty - bomb, drug sniffing, perp apprehension, etc.?

How do Fenrir and Gnarlee get along?

(Marianne) #630

Ha, ha - adorable!!!

You are such a good mommy!

Thanks Marianne

I work freelance; I’m a private contractor.
I’m a handler and trainer.
Primarily, he is an explosives detection dog, and also works tracking and trailing.
They get along. It’s all in the training and exposure; and cats are trainable as well.

Our dog Sadie Mae, the sweetest, most thoughtful dog I have ever met, passed away this morning at 2:45am  We are devastated

I’ve met a LOT of dogs in my life, in fact we have 3 more, which of course we love, but I have never met another dog quite like Sadie, and probably never will again. She added much happiness to our lives, and hopefully, we did in hers as well.

Aww =( I am so sorry, Chris. It is always very hard losing a pet. I am sure your other 3 dogs will also be mournful and missing her as well.

My condolences to you and yours on the loss of Sadie Mae. Now she gets to run… leadless… in the long fields.

Thank you Susan. Yes, our littlest, youngest one (the Chiweenie), is now on high alert… as their pack leader is gone. So she has been waking up and barking at the tiniest sounds.
Too soon to talk about it, but we really need to get my GF another big, protective dog… Maybe a German Shepherd, or Pit bull. Shepherds are so smart… but Pit Bulls are so sweet, and both are excellent protectors…

Just trying to pick myself up now…

Thank you DKE

I am truly sorry for your loss! Unfortunately they dont stay with us long enough! A therapist once told me when I asked her if it gets better. And she said "it gets different " beautiful friend! Never forgotten. :expressionless::heart:

Thank you Wendy.

(Ashley) #640

I’m sorry for you and your GF’s loss. Memories will always be there, she will always hold a place in your heart!

(Dirty Lazy Keto'er, Sucralose freak ;)) #641

A HUGE place in our hearts ! Thank you. BTW, your furry kid there looks to have much of the same genes as ours ? Is she / he a Border Collie ? Sadie was a McNab, which is derived partly from a Border Collie. Probably why she was so darn smart, and thoughtful…

#642

Sorry for your loss, Chris. Losing a pet is never easy.

(Ashley) #643

He is a border collie/springer spaniel mix the vet thinks. He’s very intelligent but very strong headed when he wants something. He’s very vocal and won’t stop when he wants to play ball.

To say the least ! Thank you Dave.

Sounds like a fantastic friend  Your lucky to have each other
