Hi guys, I know we must cut out sugar and carbs which I’m doing. But on my daily macros for yesterday, it said 7 grams of sugar for the entire day. Is this bad??? Or do we keep it below a certain level??? I really need to know. Sorry for so many questions but I’m brand new to this lifestyle and want to do it right.

If it said: you consumed 7 grams of sugar, that means the food you ate contained a total of 7 grams of added sugar. It’s best to avoid foods with added sugar.
If you stay sub-20 grams per day net carbs, then 7 grams of added sugar takes a big chunk of that. You’d be better off getting those 7 carbs from broccoli, cauliflower, or something similar rather than sucrose or HFCS.
