I was skeptical. Being the cynic out of litter, I still approached this with a bit of hope. Holy Catoly it works! After a _miserable week and a half, I remained steadfast. So close to throwing in the towel several times! Initially, experienced the water loss and stopped cold. Frustrated at that unmoving scale, I had refused to listen to the advice here and pass that pile of plastic on by. Then there’s the frustration of having to drop plates off of bar/dumbells, and backing off cardio umpteen times. Annnd the carb withdrawal addicts frustration of not being able to tear peoples heads off in the literal sense! My better half (She who wears the pants:wink:), noticed all the changes that I could not see underneath the blindfolds of brain fog and zombie apocalyptic mannerisms. So she gave me that goofy tape, the dreaded sewing kit tape that lets you know your bicep gains aren’t matching your expectations. I procrastinated, hiding in the bathroom to try the scale for the hundreth time. Up 1.2lbs. Eff it all! I couldn’t understand, I spent two weeks “weening” myself of a lifelong carb addiction I didn’t know existed. Fought some demons trying to make it through this famous “keto flu”, which someone labeled that madness with a gentler name. Endured a fortnight of genuine dedication to the nutrition, macros,and drink… especially the lack thereof. Day 15, I feel amazing, finally. Hunger, oddly enough is a thing of the past, I am blazing around the house multitasking, have the best workout in a month… where is this fabled fat loss? Out comes the tape. I did close my eyes, then one-eyed it, and quickly remeasured thrice before my eyes popped out of my head, Hahaaa! I gained weight AND lost 2" off my beer gut!!! Dumbfounded. I feel great! I realized what everyone else has seen, I look great! I have definition in my shoulders I’ve never had before. Honestly! I’m so excited for these upcoming weekly victories! Especially those small battles of personal sacrifice, and beneficial choices! All I’ve got left are some dizziness issues, but once that is gone, I will be 100% again! Long story short, Don’t give up, Don’t give in, Never lose hope! This was by no means meant for bragging rights. I just want everyone to know that I’m stupified at how keto goes against the grains of everything I was taught… and results do not lie! Thanks for letting me babble incessantly about myself!

Get some electrolytes at the health food store, or look up recipes for keto ade. Should help with the dizziness.

Thankyou Sarah! I’ve noticed it when I’m dehydrated somehow( lifer for drinking water),
But, mostly when I lay down and get up, or get on a weight bench. Once the room straightens out I can execute. I have had to take extra care to let the short-lived episode pass before handling my 8mo old daughter
