Will keto still work if I eat bacon or sausages that aren’t sugar free? I have been on keto for awhile - maybe 5 months now but at first I was eating lots of bacon and sausage but then I became obsessed with keto and doing to like " right" and perfect way and basically going out of my way to find foods that had no sugar. I was able to lose weight eating “normal” bacon and sausage but I did switch to sugar free. I recently fell off the keto wagon because carbs snuck back in - I would like to get back to keto but I really don’t enjoy the sugar free sausages and bacon - it’s harder to find and harder on the wallet too. Would it be okay if I just ate regular bacon ? I have in the oastveaten a whole pack a day so I don’t know if that’s a lot of sugar to be consuming

Lots of bacon has 1 or 2 carbs, sausage can get up there. Just check the carb counts on them. I have used bacon with 2 carbs on many occasions. I don’t do sausage as much (talking breakfast sausages not brats etc. I do eat those but again the carb counts must be read.) As long as you are staying within your carb goals they should be fine.

Depends what your other carb sources are. Count total rather than net and work from there.
