I feel like I am actually eating way more than usual. I lost weight, however my keto strips went from “traces” to “Slight” back to “traces” and yesterday i did really well, i exercised twice and ate no more than 26 grams of carbs. I know today i shouldn’t have had the sugar free candy lol oops.

That looks great. Are you looking to run an extra-large calorie deficit to lose weight? You’re vegan so I guess that salami is a vegan product?

Your macros may be just fine although maybe more fat couldn’t hurt like another serving of dairy (hard cheese) to up the fat, or add a couple of tablespoons of Coconut Oil (which you can afford!)

Don’t you want to encourage ketosis by having under 20 carbs?

Do you feel bloated is that why you’re asking?

Thanks for sharing your menu much food for thought for this carnivore!

No, i dont feel bloated at all, i feel thinner and leaner than ever but it seems like the calories add up so fast because of the fat! lol before my days would look something like this:

for breakfast:
coffee black
a piece of fruit , maybe a handful of grainless granola
maybe grab a detox juice or wheatgrass juice with apple and ginger

mid morning snack would be a very high carb organic protein bar or something made with dates, chocolate and coconut,

lunch would be a salad with lots of veggies and kelp noodles

dinner would be whole foods salad bar or poke.
I’m not vegan, but i used to eat mostly vegan foods, high carbs and lots of fruit and little snacks in between. I eat fish once or twice a week but now im eating it more often because keto is new to me and just trying to keep it simple but looking for more vegan options.

I only go over my net carbs when I’m at work and cannot get keto friendly food or leave the house unprepared for a long period of time. It’s also been a bit of trial and error learning what foods actually are high carb and which ones are not.

The salami was def vegan. I cannot bring myself to eat anymore meat or dairy. I am looking for dairy alternatives and other low carb options  oh and yes I am looking for a large calorie deficit. I was 132 when i started, I am 126 now and my goal is 115-120 (I am running everyday, cycling once a week , and alternate strength training as well (knowing it will probably up the scales a bit

Well to your original question, it may feel like you’re eating too much but you’re definitely not. And you’re active so do want to make sure you’re sufficiently fueled.

It’s a shame you’re not enjoying bacon and bacon fat love! :sunglasses:
