Hi Everyone,

So I was talking to my neighbors, and I was excited about this new sugar free bbq sauce I found. So I made the mistake of mentioning I was on an LCHF diet. The responses were the usual: “But you need to eat glucose to survive! You’re going to die of a heart attack! You’re clogging your arteries! Skipping meals is the worst thing you can do!” etc etc. I usually brush it off as white noise. But honestly, it makes me sad and angry. I’m sad and angry at the fact that so many people don’t realize that everything we’ve always been told to do is exactly what has been making us sicker. I want to shout it from the rooftops, but it’s often hard to fight the masses. This becomes especially difficult whilst I’m ending week 5 of keto and I feel lousy and I haven’t lost weight since week one. Thank goodness for this forum! Thank goodness for Carl and Richard! All of you keep me going and keep me optimistic that one day real change will occur. Thank you everyone for being here and for reading this. /rant

If you aren’t seeing results, maybe try to shake things up a little and find what works for you!! As far as your neighbors comments, I think this is something we have all encountered at one time or another. Usually best to just keep quiet!! Smile and nod lol! Seems some people live in a bubble and you will never change their minds!! I usually only tell people about the Keto WOE if they specifically ask!!
