So today I did my first ever carb cycling - basically eating 100-150 carbs to kick me out of ketosis and then tomorrow I will eat very low carbs to go back into ketosis . My question is when should I check my ketone levels to see if this carb day even throws me out of ketosis . I have only one test strip left ( I have a keto mojo - keto blood monitor ) so I don’t want to waste the strip. Should I check tonight to see if I’m kicked out or tomorrow morning or afternoon. So far I don’t really feel any different . My stomach feels a little weird but that’s because it hasn’t had this kinda food in a while , also I’m bloated but other than that I don’t feel any different so far.
