This is not very related to the episode itself, just to the recipes part. I just had to say as expat Uruguayan hearing Brandon describe the Uruguayan asado just made me so nostalgic I’m gonna have to build myself a “parrillero” (what he called the outdoors wood burning stove) to be able to make me some here in Austin.

Too bad he didn’t visit 2 years ago, when I was still living there, because I would have loved to show Brandon around. In case he happens to read this, just one piece of advice, don’t stay in the city, go explore the countryside and the beaches (even though it’s winter … maybe do some fishing), that is the best part.
