What the supercentenarians eat

#1

Emma Morano of 117 years died today. Here’s what BBC reported …

“Her doctor of 27 years, Carlo Bava, had told AFP news agency that she rarely ate vegetables or fruit. “When I met her, she ate three eggs per day, two raw in the morning and then an omelette at noon, and chicken at dinner.””

So, now the oldest living person is Violet Brown, and according to gerontology.wikia.com:

“She attributed her long life to God, respecting her parents as well, working hard and eating coconut sauce”

@richard the “coconut sauce” (in this recipe called coconut rundown) could not be more keto friendly! It’s just cooked down coconut cream! That’s it! I want to try it with fresh coconut!!!
The recipe describes a cooked down “custard” that the coconut oil reabsorbs into, then salt it (wow!) and add meat/vegetables!!!

I think this needs to be a RECIPE!!!

Yes! What a golden find. I mean duh, we already know coconut is super good for us, especially the fat. To cook it with savory foods though…
Ermergerd SUPER YUMMY

I’ve made sweetened condensed coconut milk as a sub before. But I never thought of that as a base for savory sauces. Oh yeah. that is going to be awesome.

When we finally found Keto Nation, can we allow polygamy so you can share?
