My favorite pickles are Bubbies fermented pickles, which I’ve found only at Whole Foods. Some stores have them, but the stores are as far away as is Whole Foods.
What should I get from Costco?

Bubbies pickles sound like sufficient motivation for a trip to Whole Foods. My budget usually is happy when I stay away.

Well, I changed my mind about getting Whisps or cheese since I realized it would blow my fast if I had them in the house. They didn’t have avocado mayo. Just ended up getting almond flour, now I gotta figure out what to do with it.
Next month when he goes again I’m gonna make sure I’m not fasting!

I’ve tried Whisps, but wasn’t impressed enough with them for the money. If I want cheese-crackers, I just grate up cheese and make them.
Shelf stable items that I buy a lot of:
- Coconut oil
- Chicken broth
- Canned pumpkin (but this comes in 3-packs of 30-oz cans, so I usually only use part of a can and freeze the rest into ice cube trays)
- Nalley Baby Dills
- Artichokes (bottled)
- Walnuts
- Pecans
- Almonds
- Almond butter (or no-sugar peanut butter)
- Olive oil (though the bottles are huge and I decant some into a bottle for the shelf and store the rest in the fridge)
- Vitamins
Stuff that needs to be refrigerated or frozen, so might not fit @Sharon_E’s question:
- Hempler’s uncured thick cut bacon
- Columbus salami
- Eggs
- Darigold cream
- Butter
- Ribeyes
- Salmon
- Chicken thighs
- Riced cauliflower
- Frozen strawberries
- Frozen three-berry blend
- Cheese (it comes in really big blocks and I’m single, but I usually buy one and it stays good long enough for me to eat my way through it)
