What’s the story with onions?

Greying hair: Onions (catalase anti-hydrogen peroxide) are good for turning your hair back to its original pigment (melanin) color if you can tolerate constantly putting onion juice/water on your head…lol

Point well taken. When I was a kid, they had no idea I had a heart defect (it took ultrasound and my symptoms to discover it at 49). As a kid I refused to eat. Doctor was worried. Got my appetite back at 15. I think that is why I was very slim until menopause. But what was so interesting, was, after the procedure, my doctor warned me to watch what I ate. He said my weird heart plumbing was costing me 500 calories a day, which I would regret after the problem was fixed.

I’ll report back if I learn anything less useful than this for the rest of today

I got my first gray hair at 27!! I’m sixty, and have let it all go - luckily, I’m silver. The texture of dyed hair was easier to work with, but silver is easier on my skin color. Though early gray is tied to osteoporosis risk.

I meant to mention that wrapping yourself around the food and squeezing it to death before eating it is not a technique I’ve seen often.

Trust me, I am a champion food squeezer.

Can you do a pork chop in under 4 minutes?

“do” can mean many things…

Ok, sad story. I said I did not enjoy eating until I was 15, but occasionally my mother sent me to school with a PB sandwich and barbecue potato chips. Yum, any kind of PCs. I recently found a diary I kept when I was 12. My BFs at school said I could not eat lunch with them because “I ate like an animal.” So, some people eat a little bit at a time, but do it on speed dial?

I have onions on the list of carbs I eat every day due to their inulin content.
