What is this buzzily feeling in my head?

So, I’m on month 2 of keto and I feel so in control of hunger waves it’s amazing. But, I did go to a farm 2 table dinner last night where the food was high quality, but I did decide to induge in small amounts of non keto friendly food (sourdough bread slice, and peach/icecream). Although it was only small bites and I left alot on my plate… I woke up today almost feeling like I was buzzed with a mild hangover. Any thoughts? I’m still super new at this, but I’ve been pretty strict on the keto lifestyle.

It’s the carb hangover, it’s normal. I think it touches more people who are sensitive to carbs (insulin resistant people). For me, it’s just another good reason to stay away from carbs :wink:.

Thank you, makes perfect sense. I don’t think I’m fat adapted yet, either… Just gonna stay the course and get back on track for Month 2.

I have to precise that the carb hangover doesn’t go away after being fat adapted… unfortunately.
