You’d make a fortune

I don’t remember the brand, since it was last summer, but I picked it up at WalMart and it was the crystals that you put into a grinder, or just suck on like candy, if you’re me. I do remember that it was imported from Pakistan if that makes a difference, I don’t know.
Just checked mine - it’s President’s Choice brand - made in Pakistan - no plastic bits when dissolved in water (so it wasn’t that one)
Without plastic in your salt, how are you getting your daily petroleum intake?
Any particular one of Redmond you like? I see there’s different ones, also there’s a seasoning set ooooo.
Hmmm, I’ll have to check out the seasoning set. I use the ancient fine sea salt
Bumping up the thread. Redmond Real Salt is simply amazing. No pollutants or plastic. Mine arrived today and I am snacking on it as we speak.
I will try some, but Redmond Real Salt is a food group. I can’t stay away. I hear HPS is somewhat impure. Some plastics found.
I’ve heard that about sea salt and it make sense, but PHS is mostly from Punjabi foothills. Not sure how plastic would get into salt mines there.
So you are plunging me into a day of research? Update - hubby poured lemon juice over salt. To die for!!
Will have to try that lemon juice thing.
Research can be fun.
These beautiful pink salt crystals are mined from the great Salt Range of the Himalayas, an area that geologists estimate could be 800 million years old. You could be eating a salt crystal that was actually formed in the Precambrian era — around the same time the first multi-celled life began (we’re talking little tiny organisms that were the first sign of life on this planet)
I will definitely keep a look out for Redmond.
