What is causing me to fall asleep after a meal?

It’s not the same kind of sugar crash when I slept for an hour or 2 and felt groggy when i wake up.

I suddenly get tired like the old way but only 20-30 minute nap and i snap right out of it feeling great and back to normal.

i don’t enjoy this at all because i feel like i have lost control of my body by needing a nap like this.

is my insulin going up?

it doesn’t happen every day and takes effect almost immediately to 1/2 hour after eating.

Have you looked at what you’ve eaten when it does happen to see if there’s any common foods?

everything is different. It happens when I fast and do regular meals with strict keto. it’s off and on couple times a week.

today i ate something that is not keto and high in carb, won’t say what don’t want to trigger anyone’s temptations and it was 96 carbs and 820 calories and nothing happened except feeling full. i won’t be able to eat anything else today but nothing happened, i have good energy too.
