I had a bit of a carb bender last night, so have been fasting today along with having done a fasted workout. When I have a window of higher carb intake, what happens after that if I fast and exercise? Does my body “use up” the extra glucose or will it automatically get stored as fat?
What happens when I overdo carbs and then fast?

I notice increased thermogenesis, for sure - really being hot overnight. As for storing fat or not, I’d say it depends it how much of an insulin response one has, and for how long. Past a point, the body is going to be storing fat.
