I want to know in long term if i follow 100g-C/F and 50-80g of P is consumed daily with 1:30 hrs of workout (moderate intensity with lot of strength training) + 20:4 IF.
Planning to take complex carbs of 70g(veggies) and rest 30-50g would be from not so complex carbs.

Does it causes any diseases like appendix, diabetics, kidney stones, fatty liver …etc ? any warnings i have to take ?

Target calorie goal is 1400.
I am vegetarian atleast 3 times a week. Please share your opinion.

Classic answer: it depends.

  1. That’s not a ketogenic diet

Do you have health needs to be losing weight? Are you insulin resistant? Do you have fatty liver?

It probably won’t put you into nutritional ketosis. It might nevertheless be a healthy choice for you.

100 * 4(carbs) + 100 * 9(fat) + 50 * 4(protein) = 1500

The result depends on many variables, such as the nature of the carbs and the amounts of insoluble and soluble fibers, resistant starches and sugars and your degree insulin resistance or other metabolic issues. 50 g protein is a bit on the low side for most people for long term but ought to be ok for a limited duration weight losing diet.

If your caloric needs are somewhat higher than this and the carbs have little sugar and easy digesting starch I’d expect you to be moderately in ketosis with this.

I’d gain weight, we are different. Besides that many carbs, I’d be eating the house before I know it, thus the weight gain. This would not control my hunger enough. I know because I have been there and done that, too many times.

It is lower carb, not keto, I started at keto and worked my way to LCHF WOE, that worked with some IF and extended fasting to get me to maintance.

I would never be in ketosis on 100 grams of Carbs a day, thats closer to my weekly Carb load, if a bit high. That diet mix would send me down a year long obesity spiral from 165 and ending at 240lbs. I know because I’ve been there, but everyone is different and life is unfair. I still harbor a resentment for my skinny friend who seemingly can live solely on doughnuts…

N = 1! Try it and let us know your results! If you have a way to test for ketones, that would be some great data to collect as well as how you feel/weight.
