Scrolling through posts i read a lot of posts from Erin Macfarland. She is/was a personal trainer on keto and a LMHR.
Suddenly in 2020 no posts from here anymore. I hope everything is ok, but because her high labs it sounds a little bit scary. So i hope there are other reasons then her health.
Anybody in contact with her?
What happened with Erin Macfarland?
It’s sad, but people often come down with a case of real life, and that can be deadly.
Also, anyone who stopped posting in 2020-21 has me automatically worried, for obvious reasons.
But there are plenty of people who were active in 2017 when I joined, who I wish would come back. (sigh)
Anyway, to answer your question about Erin, no, I haven’t heard anything.
hahaha so true lol. Us young people mainly exist online so I/we should be ok
For LMHRs, Dave Feldman is running a study with them to see if they get higher atherosclerosis. My guess is no, as when I was on Twitter, one of the people he got for the study had insanely high LDL, and yet clear CIMT. Now, the study will use multiple CIMTs, but I think these people (all with low trigs, high HDL, high LDL) will be fine.
Well, I’m old and exist mostly online, but being old can be deadly too. You never know for whom the bell tolls…
I’ve been on this forum for six years. There are a few of us who have been here this long but many people come for a short while and then fade away. I think its just the nature of online forums.
And covid probably didn’t help. While I actually lost weight during covid (lost the weight I gained trying a version of The Croissant Diet), I think many went the other way.
She was building a business around fitness and healthy eating last I heard. I think she just got to busy with that.
I have been here off and on long time. But I have taken long breaks at times - real life and all that.
she seems to be fine according to her social media, she’s been posting photos with her family and stuff. her most recent post was a couple weeks ago.
Bay tow vin for one. I myself took a break from the forum not from this WOE (although I gained weight during COVID) I also started in ‘17 but after about a year of OBSESSING about Keto I needed it just be how I ate and not consuming every waking moment with research.
