What fat should I eat

#1

I keep seeing people say to eat fat if you’re hungry or feeling off but what exactly does that mean in terms of food for most people. Things I tend to eat at the moment are bacon, eggs, chicken, cheese, almonds, avacado,

Thanks

All depends if I am trying to avoid protein or not.

Avo, egg, bacon, almonds etc are all good if I have some protein macro’s to play with.

Coconut oil, butter, cream cheese, double / heavy cream, macadamia nuts etc are all things I would eat / drink with coffee that are almost 100% fat and I’m snackish.

The whole “eat fat when hungry” kinda goes away once you are fat adapted. Hunger is no longer an issue.

The main thing is just that I’m a grumpy bastard! I can live with feeling hungry but not sure my family can live with me being so irritatable.

Keep a stick of butter in the fridge and slice it. Sprinkle with sea salt and eat every time you feel hungry with plenty of water

Eat all of them. Put butter or chicken schmaltz in with your veggies.

You shouldn’t be hungry on keto, eat enough fats to satisfy the hunger.

There are plenty of recipes on this site and elsewhere as well as complete meal plans that will help you.

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #7

I often drink the bacon juice (after the pan cools down—but don’t tell @Aqua_chonk, because she thinks I have “lips of steel,” lol!). Sometimes I snack on cream cheese, a piece of buttered cheddar, or mashed avocado. Double-cream yoghurt (if you can tolerate dairy) is another good fat source.
