What do you think of this true or false?

Haven’t read it, but Duh! Eating fat doesn’t put you in Lipolysis, not eating carbs does. And no, eating ketones does not put you into lipolysis either.

Fat and ketones are the energy sources you use to keep you in Lipolysis.

Who has ever claimed BPC as “miraculous” for weight loss? Man… These sensational articles make keto look so bad.

I struggle a bit with to much fat too!

I got through the overview, every single thing in it is wrong so I don’t hold out much hope for the rest.

Edit: I read the rest because it is short. He seems to copy/paste from other sites because some of it makes sense, and then he ‘interprets’ it incorrectly. He says you breakdown muscle while you sleep to fuel the brain. Oh boy.

I suspect that was their goal, or maybe just the clicks. Goodness, I hate clickbait.

Just goes to show Dave Asprey has a lot to answer for… although his bank balance is probably quite healthy…

Glad this is bull

True!

I think they are right in what they say here:

“Daily BPC without following a KD does not result in fat loss”

And this may also be almost right:

“You lose 4-5 lbs the first week on a strict ketogenic diet (KD) and this loss will be 100% from water and 0% from body fat. This is due to glycogen depletion. Every 1g glycogen has 3g water attached to it”

BPC without lowering the insulin level is NOT a way to lose weight, and if you are in a carb burning state, and restrict carbs, you will lose a lot of water fast, and not much body fat. But if you stay in carb restriction, then the body will adapt, and you will start burning body fat. But they are not technically wrong. It is just not the hole story.

It is pure keto bashing…

ooh boy. I guess the title is technically true, but I got 4 bullet points into the article before I gave up. That’s a terrible article.
