What did you take a photo of on your walk today? (feat. CHUNK)

(Running from stupidity) #1

Basically, show us what you see when you’re out walking, probably in your local area.

I’m endlessly fascinated by the mundane and everyday things from wherever, and I suspect I’m not the only one.

And looking for things to shoot take photos of is a good way to be present in your walking, or something.

Man, finding a good pic to start with is HARD. Remember, anything can be used. But I don’t want anything to weird or specialised for the first image as I don’t want to give the wrong impression. It’s like picking an image to run with a story

Cheating a bit as I took this one on Friday but I do most of my walking/hiking on weekends :slightly_smiling_face:

The cutest tree in one run down neighborhood. Sorry about the fancy frame but I posted it on IG first.

Treadmill today, you don’t want to see that, but this is from my Sunday hike on Duke U’s Al Buehler Trail.

The last persimmons on my tree in Tokyo. Winter is coming!

(Hyperbole- best thing in the universe!) #14

There is a bonsai garden near my home! I’ve lived in this neighborhood for a few years and just found it!

#winning!

Man, I love seeing all these photos from everywhere I’m not.

(lisa Bradley) #16

I took three or four tonight… odd choices in garden ornaments made me smile, especially this one…

(lisa Bradley) #17

Although, if you ask me, this ornament of a bather standing at a cascading waterfall wins the outstanding in the garden award hands down.

(Running from stupidity) #18

That’s pretty awesome, indeed. Even better than the deformed lion

(lisa Bradley) #19

It took me a while to figure out it was a lion, tbh. Love it though!
