Never trust a Dutch guy when he says “restaurant is within walking distance”.

Two hours and 4 miles later we sit down for dinner. Thank the gods and goddesses for keto!!! I hoofed it up and down multiple flights of stairs and nary a huff or puff and my heart wasn’t jumping out of my chest. Pre-keto I would have been dying! But sucking it up and hoping nobody noticed how stressed I was.

I was smiling and profiling and having a blast.

This remind me of a friend who, if strangers asked where she lived (which happens a lot here,) would always say, “You can walk there from here,” on the basis that you can walk anywhere eventually.

Change of plan today. Chunk had some sort of attack / seizure and couldn’t stand up at all. We think it was a mild vestibular attack. Vet can’t find any problems but has taken bloods and we are waiting… I’ve got Chunk in the kitchen with me, keeping him close so I can watch him and will decide if he can have a walk today after he’s had a rest. He’s very quiet but otherwise seems OK… scared the hell out of me, as you can tell, my Chunk means the world to me
